This kernel patch was developed by Laird Bedore (marasmus@vectorstar.net).
It creates an experimental SCSI driver for running the Promise SuperTrak SX6000
card natively in the kernel.

This code was based on Promise's GPL driver code, version 1.30.01, released in 
March of 2002.

VectorStar used this card in production for a number of months. We no longer 
use this card in production and have ceased development of this in-kernel 
version of the RAID driver. The code is still available for anyone who wants
to use it.
