Well, it's that job time again! 2003-02-12 23:13:31
by stale
The company that I work for has just decided that sales have not been going good, even though they've known this for at least 6 months, so they have issued a company-wide paycut/layoff. I cannot deal with working for a job without some high percentage of job security, so I am once again in the market for a technical/computer position. If anybody who reads this (like the 3 or 4 of you that do) could please pass my resume along to any IT type of department that you have at your company, I would be grateful. Here is a somewhat current copy of my resume. Thanks!

Dude, don't forget that fry tech position at McDonalds....

luuvmuffen: Gee, I've got Software Shelf as an option, although I might rather choke on my own vomit. That little shop couldn't pay me anyway.

Mighty: Dude, if I go get the job as a fry tech I'm totally using Debbie Graves as a reference!

I got a job for ya, but you'd have to move to Dallas and take ALL that steel out yo face.

Mighty: That was some funny as shit.

Well, I could live with the steel thing. I have no problem taking the shit out for work. The Dallas thing does kinda pose a problem though. Email me some money figures :)

Maybe if my company wasn't into trying to layoff everyone I could help you. Sorry.

This is lame, guys, and totally unrelated since I can't start posts, but the staff at www.themelesswonder.com is in need of someone who's adept with graphic design/editing to help give the layout a little bit of a facelift. Money would be involved, though not a great deal of it. If you or anyone you know wants to take a stab at it, e-mail me at chris@themelesswonder.com.

Stizale, that's twice Chris has stomped on your post. Damn!

Yeah, wait until I ruin his chances at getting an account--oh wait, he's already done that himself!

Chris, nobody cares about your website. Instead of worrying about graphics, maybe you should hire a, "content artist," to put something actually useful on your webstie as its grammatical content currently resembles this.

Did you miss that part where I already got hosting somewhere else? Did you miss that part where, instead of asking for a job because I'm a sketchy-as-fuck reject who just got laid off (and then proceeded to blame it on "sales not doing good" - Note the grammar, you illiterate/hypocritical piece of shit) I'm attempting to give one of you a chance at making an easy buck? Did you miss the part where you proceeded to bitch, as typical, and make the dumbass assumption that you have anything I might even remotely want at some point in my lifetime? Unless a new market opens up for bad tattoos and STD's, you're out of luck. A little less ego masturbation, and you might be able to hold down a job.

I'd like to go ahead and point out that "webstie" isn't a word, too, and that at no point in my original post did I ever ask you to so much as look at the site. Holy shit, you're stupid.

I would just like to add something to this post in stale's defense. The company he works for did NOT fire him. The company over spent and decided to cut everyone’s pay because they don't know how to manage their money. He is looking for another job because he no longer trusts the company, not because his job is in danger. When a company decides to cut your pay drastically to cover their own ass even though you haven’t been doing anything wrong lets see how motivated you would be to stay and work for them. In fact everyone who matters at his job has been asking him not to quit all week. I know this because I work for the same sorry excuse for a company. I think anyone who wants to jump at the chance to attack Stale should wait for another post to do so.

Vanity: Chris is just a fucktard teenager who dresses like neil young (or at least his friend does). Check out his website if you don't believe me :)

Chris: There's no way the allowance you get from your stepdad is going to cover the salary I desire.

Did I mention that Neil Young totally freaking rocks my jimmy johnson out of my underwear right in front of my stepmom and her poker-playing friends?!

Chris got spanked.

Well, Vanity, that's very kind of you - And I didn't jump at any chance to attack anyone. In fact, I was being a nice guy, and as he has with every time I've ever posted, Frank decided that it'd be a stellar idea to make a sad attempt at opening a verbal can of whoopass, for no particular reason. Everyone here has encouraged me to respond in kind.

Having said this, let's clear up another few things: If I have a friend that likes and or/dresses like Neil Young, this really has nothing to do with me. You're reaching. Secondly, I don't have a stepdad, but you'd be one to comment on a kid without married parents, wouldn't you?

I mean, let's take a real good look at you, Stale. Firstly, you're unattractive. Let's just go ahead and get this out of the way. You know it, I know, so does everyone else. It's cool, I don't hold it against you. If you're going to make fun of the way a distant friend dresses, we ought to look briefly at your own personal style, far funnier than anything Neil Young would ever wear. It clearly reeks of the whole Trent Reznor-wannabe thing, but at the same time, your choice of vehicle, words, and almost everything else about you proclaims, "I'm a back-woods retard," in a drunken, shaky voice. So you're a human enigma. You've got the deadbeat sleazy asshole and you've got the angst-ridden "I wish I were goth when really I just play computer games and watch porn," thing going, and it occurs to me that these only combine in one persona: The angry and awkward high-school sophomore. You're that kid that used to ride on the back of my bus and bitch at people, and think he's cool for it, while his girlfriend gave the rest of us handjobs during recess. And I don't care what your mother and your guidance counselors may have told you, that kid sucked.

Have you noticed that everything you've ever said to me is a total waste of words? It rarely makes sense or has any relevance, and at first it's sort of funny, but then it just gets old. I've taken a little pleasure out of handing your ass to you in the past, but all I really wanted to do this time was offer someone a chance for a few easy bucks. And even if you don't like the site, it's pretty irrelevant, as it still brings in money. If I'm a fucktard teen, my multiple sources of income versus your zero make you look like a total idiot. I seriously don't know why you do this. Under normal circumstances, I'd like a guy like you; you're pretty funny. And all that stuff about reminding me of an awkward dropout is only really bad when coupled with the fact that you're a blatant asshole. Anyhow, I'm done here. I don't even read this anymore, I just wanted to post that offer. So I won't stomp on your posts anymore, maybe, and you can get back to posting shockwave movies and complimenting each others' cocks, because nobody else is going to anyways. Take a look in the mirror, though, and just know that no matter what you say, I'm still laughing at you. Have a good one.

Looks like Chris missed the bus again. I still have a source of income; it's just that I work for an untrustworthy company. I don't think I ever posted anything about being jobless.

Chris, I'm kind of relieved that you don't find me attractive. Considering the way you found some asinine reason to post a completely unrelated comment on nearly all of my recent posts, I was beginning to think you had some sort of homosexual fantasy for me. You know, maybe you still do have some sort of homosexual lust for me, but since you're still in high school, you're relying on the old tease-the-person-you-like idea. Granted, yes, this idea does wear out by time you reach middle school in most people, there are some slower learners.

I'm not too clear on, "multiple sources of income." Allowance, bullying lunch money, and selling magic cards don't necessarily qualify in my book as, "multiple sources of income." Oh, wait, I forgot that you do have that website. I'm sure tons of people love to read your music reviews and gladly pay abnormal amounts of money to read them.

Additionally, if everything I say to you is, "a total waste of words," then why the long replies every time I rip you up? I think I'm gonna have to pull out the bullshit card.

Oh, and for the record, there is nothing wrong with video games and/or porno!

Hmmm... I'm gonna have to pull out the sentence grammar card on myself for that one.

You're right, I forgot when making that post that you still had a job, and it's not insecure, but that you just don't like it. That's my mistake.

On what are you basing the assumptions that I'm in high school, jobless, and write music reviews?

By the way, recycling the same two or three sentences in every post, each centered around homophobia and the words "ass," "dick," and "mother," most definately don't constitute "ripping anyone up."

I'm tired of this now. You're amusing for a little while, but it's old now, and you're just becoming pitiful. So I'm done playing. Have fun getting in the last word, and since you've apparently got some sort of thing for trying to make me feel stupid, if it helps your self-esteem at all, you can pretend you succeeded.

It'd be nice if you guys could find another place to fling shit, cause you're both totally in your own manufactured realities and need a good solid smack in the mouth.

Frank should learn when not to flame people for making an honest attempt at being helpful, and Chris should learn to verify assumptions before responding with an equally lame flame. I can't believe you both lack this level of common sense.

I'm now done babysitting, kids.

That was very good. I liked that, especially since it is my pedophile 19 year old picture.

Now, I could have searched this site and found about 3/4 of the girls Pondera has slept with. I could have also made a bid on this to help out my friend with some of his issues. But in the long run, I decided to just leave you alone.

Vahman: I bet Pondera's car has 2nd gear. That's all I'm sayin'.

Pondera: At 110HP do you actually accelerate up hill?

It accelerates enough to pick up vahman and drive him to the local ABC liquor store.
