this. It's a bit long, but worth the read. It's currently the talk of another internet message board and I was asked to mirror the site since the original keeps running out of bandwidth at Angelfire. No contact information can be found about the guy who wrote it, and it stops at page 10, but fact or fiction, it's quite interesting.
Oh, and ask Laird what kind of response this mirror is getting. Last I heard, he told me 18,700 hits in 5.5 hours! Luckily we got some bandwidth to burn. | |

| Here are the numbers before compression of text data: 35,000 hits per 12 hours (2900 hits an hour = 48 hits per minute) 285MB in 12 hours (23.75MB an hour = 54kbps steady) Well, it's grabbing a bit more bandwidth than my first estimate of 150MB/day :) However, outbound traffic from our server peaked at 521kbps, which only happened during the 5-minute interval from 8:05pm to 8:10pm this evening, EST. Other than that, we've been trolling an average of 95-115kbps, which is a jump from our normal 60-80kbps :) Direct server bandwidth can be seen on a 24-hour scale here. Right-side is most recent on my graph, whereas left side is most recent on Sirius'.

| Actually, the above referenced charts are exactly that. The green lines represent how many farts Marasmus was able to pass during the blue line, which represents the porno's he was watching. | |

| Sirius: Yeah... :) I knew you were pulling the stats off another interface :) I just felt like doing some really shoddy arithmetic right before bed in order to get my mind off of the story. :)

| Stale, err yo scurr'd? This thing better be a movie waiting to happen. It's written to well to just be some guys internet fiction. You give the thing a good ending and complete (none of that Blair Witch junk) and I figure this is a really good movie. | |

| Comments are only editable using the Admin tool (not the user tool), provided you're an admin of the page. Someday in the future I might rewrite (or con you into rewriting) the whole system into PHP (it could do it a bit better than perl) and perhaps make comments editable by users at that point. | |

| got the url to the orriginal site, we can check when it was put online. Anything later than the dates on the pages, and we know it is absolutely a fake story ( although really well written ). | |

| There is no standard mechanism for checking file dates via HTTP protocol. In other words, we can't verify the creation date at all. Now if we knew someone at angelfire, perhaps we could get somewhere. :) | |
